The Nissan leaf is a 100% electric, five door hatchback, producing no CO2 Emissions.nissan leaf There are 3 models  available in Ireland, the XE, SV and SVE with features such as Sat Nav, Cruise control, Rear parking camera, Climate control and 16” alloys. Safety equipment includes Driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags along with Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) all as standard.

The Nissan Leaf is powered by an 80kw AC motor which develops 280Nm of torque and can give a maximum speed of 140km/h. The Motor is powered by a Laminated Lithium-ion battery pack with a power output of 90kw. This 48 module battery is mounted under the seats and floor of the Nissan Leaf.

Smart phone technology enables connectivity between your smart car and you, features include the ability to control charging times and status update, pre-heat or cool the car before starting a journey and may other features all controllable from your phone.

It has a maximum speed of more than 90mph and can travel up to 175km/109 miles on a full charge.

It can be recharged to 80% battery capacity in approx 25 minutes from fast charging points.

The Nissan leaf contains a lithium-ion battery included in the sale price. Each battery should maintain 80% of its capacity after 5 years of use.

According to Nissan, the average running costs annually are expected to be approx €232 based on annual mileage of 19,300km.

Retail Price starts at €20,990 (€21,490 with a quick charge)  for the XE model , followed by the SV at €23,990 and the SVE at €26,390.

The SVE model features Led headlamps,Leather interior, heated seats, auto wiper, Around View Monitor, Bose sound system and 17 inch allows.
